The 2007 Tennessee Nutrition Conference will bring up-to-date, research-based information presented by respected nutrition experts from around the country. Sessions are planned on nutrition of beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses and small ruminants. The date is Wednesday, February 28. Location Williamson County Ag Expo Center, Franklin, Tennessee.
This will be the third nutrition conference. The previous two have been highly rated, with attendance of approximately 150 people.
The target audience is anyone whose career is related to feeding animals. This could be trainers or managers of horse operations, beef producers, dairy operators or sheep/goat managers. It could also be feed dealers or representatives who simply want to provide the best possible nutrition information to their customers.
The theme for the 2007 Tennessee Nutrition Conference is "Feeding is Fundamental." This theme illustrates that everything we do with animals, from milk and beef production to reproductive efficiency to horse performance starts with fundamentally sound nutrition. This theme also relates to the educational efforts that will be conducted in association with the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program.
